Hello Stranger is an indie-pop band that emerged onto the scene in 2023. From the coastal town of Mandurah, WA, they quickly built a dedicated following with their energetic live sets, unique dual-fronted vocals and their motto ‘Don’t be a stranger!’. More than just music, the band encourages people to say hello, embrace new experiences and get to know their community. A message they embody through their music and in their day-to-day lives.

Since their formation, Hello Stranger has shared the stage with renowned acts such as Surf Trash, The Grogans, Ra Ra Viper, Noah Dillon and Joan & The Giants as well as winning the opening slot at Pollen Fest 2024. Their drive to perform as much as possible has cemented their place in the WA music scene pretty early on in their careers.

Their debut release ‘Soul Tide’ was an instant success, racking up 11,000 streams in its first week and earnt a spot on Spotify’s “All New Rock” playlist.The band celebrated their debut release with a single launch at Top Floor in their hometown. The show was a great success, selling over 200 tickets at their debut headline show. Since then, the band has released three more singles, amassing over 120,000 streams and landing a spot on the ‘Fresh Finds’ Spotify Playlist.

Looking ahead, Hello Stranger have their sights set on more live shows around WA in 2025, bringing their engaging live sets and positive message across WA.
